Gary J. Kastenbaum joins TGG
Gary Kastenbaum has joined The Governance Group as Director- International in their Summit, New Jersey office. He specializes in executive-level search engagements in the Financial Services, Real Estate, Technology, Medical Devices, and Pharmaceutical sectors as well as General Management and Human Resources roles in a variety of industries.
Prior to joining The Governance Group, Gary served as the CEO of a boutique management consulting firm. His most recent corporate role was at KPMG LLC, where he was the Chief Human Resources Officer for the consulting practice and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to that, he held senior HR leadership roles with Abbott Laboratories, BOC/Ohmeda, BASF, Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS), Bowne, and Hughes Aircraft Company.
Gary leverages his unique perspective from both sides of the table and multiple industries to deliver the results that The Governance Group clients expect. He has an exemplary track record in helping organizations build successful leadership teams, identify key talent, and assist entrepreneurial organizations "scale" their operations for long term success and profitability.
Gary joined The Governance Group because of its relentless client focus, team approach, and commitment to success where others have failed. Gary earned a bachelor's degree in Education and Psychology from the City University of New York. He resides in Summit, NJ with his wife and two children. Giving back to the community, Gary is a site supervisor for Habitat for Humanity and serves as a Human Resources job coach for their summer intern program.
